COVID-19

Dear Clients and Colleagues,

We are all aware of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which continues to spread all over the world causing confusion and uncertainty.

The European Patent Office (EPO) has issued a notice, dated 15 March 2020, stipulating that all deadlines expiring on or after the date of this notice are extended for all parties and their representatives to 17 April 2020. At this stage, the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) has not extended any deadlines but we will certainly keep you updated if this changes.

As clients are top priority for our firm and we are dedicated to continuing our high-level of client service, we report that Kutzenberger Wolff & Partner will remain fully operational and all deadlines (new or existing) will continue to be handled normally. In particular, we are happy to report that all members of our firm and their families are well. If the situation becomes worse, we are able to work from home due to our remotely accessible digital file management and digital collaboration tools. As you see, we are prepared to fully assist you while being safe.

Our commitment to you during this situation remains as strong as ever. Thank you for placing your trust in our firm and stay safe.

Yours sincerely,

Kutzenberger Wolff & Partner
